OXFORDSHIRE’S County Championship Junior Division 2D campaign got off to a flier with two wins at Slough.

Erik Wahlgren and Simon Price picked up two singles victories apiece in a 6-4 success against Essex 2nd.

Vicky Coll and Kristelle Brook equalled their achievement as Oxon beat hosts Berkshire 6-4 in the second match.

Wahlgren had seen off England No 27 Daniel McTiernan 11-8 in the fifth set.
