OXFORD RL have signed England Forces international pair Jordan Andrade and Jamie Milburn.

Andrade, is a back-row forward or prop, and will soon be moving to RAF Brize Norton.

Army officer Millburn, who covers the same positions, has recently been relocated to Abingdon’s Dalton Barracks.

The duo represented England at the Armed Forces Rugby League World Cup last year, where the team lost 20-16 to New Zealand in the semi-finals.

Andrade said: “I cant wait to get stuck in.

“I was really impressed with what the club is trying to achieve and I am looking forward to being a part of the future.

“I just want to show the club and our fans what I can do and am looking forward to the challenges ahead.”

More recently, the pair have faced each other in the inter-service championships when Millburn’s Army side came out in top 20-18.

Millburn said: “This feels the right move for me to kick start my rugby career.

“I’ve missed a few years with work and injury since I was at Featherstone Rovers, but getting posted to Oxfordshire has provided a fresh opportunity.

“I had a couple of offers, but I knew Oxford would be the right move as the club are wanting to head in the same direction as me.

“It matches my ambitions and has a good record of developing players.”

Meanwhile, centre Yannic Parker has left Oxford to rejoin University of Gloucestershire All Golds.
