Oxford University topped the half-century mark for the second time in a week when they thrashed London Scottish 53-0 at Iffley Road on Tuesday.

Boosted by their convincing 50-0 success over Major Stanley’s last Wednesday, the Dark Blues scored eight tries.

Wingers Henry Hughes and Tom Stileman were to the fore with a brace apiece.

No 8 Fraser Heathcote was back to his rampaging best with strong carries from the base of the scum, one of which brought him a try.

Ex-Cambridge double Blue Andrew Abraham moved up from full-back to fly-half and was on the end of the best move to score between the posts.

Flanker Nic Roberts-Huntley and a penalty try completed the try tally.

Fly-half George Cullen kicked one penalty and two conversions while centre Matt Janney added three conversions.

In their final match before their clash with Cambridge at Twickenham on Thursday December 10, Oxford entertain Richmond on Sunday (3pm).
