Magdalen College School entertain Dean Close today as they attempt to reach the quarter-finals of the English National Schools Championships.
MCS, who have already dispatched Bablake, Abingdon and Bromsgrove schools, will be hoping to reach the final which will be held at the Olympic Park, Lee Valley, in April.
The school’s 1st XI are no strangers to the national stadium, having been runners-up in the Plate Competition there last year.
Magdalen’s leading scorer this season is centre forward Jona Boender, who along with Niall Devaney and Nick Mayne, plays for Oxford men.
Dan Blick captains the side, while Kiran Patel has played for Premier League Reading.
