OXFORDSHIRE competitors were among the medals when representing England at the European Taekwon-Do Championships in Greece.
Ladies’ captain Kirsty Miller, from Didcot, won bronze medals in individual sparring, team sparring and team power, while her sister Faye took bronze in team power after narrowly missing out on Gold to Champions Greece.
Vale (Wantage) instructor Carl Davis won bronze medals in individual sparring and pattern events, while Cholsey’s Christopher Dudman, of Botley TKD, lifted an individual sparring bronze
England’s men’s team, which included Didcot’s Richard De Winton, Oxford brothers Russell and Jamie Jones plus Ashley Stuart, of Bicester, lost 3-2 to Ukraine in the quarter-finals.
