BRADLEY Smith is hoping to thrive on having back-to-back race weekends ahead of tomorrow’s Czech MotoGP at Brno.
The 25-year-old, from Forest Hill, near Oxford, finished ninth in Austria six days ago and is bidding to build on a positive start to the second half of the season.
Smith, who rides for Monster Yamaha Tech 3, lies 14th in the rider standings after ten rounds and hopes to hit the ground running in the Czech Republic.
He said: “I’m pleased there won’t be any waiting around. And I’m happy we are heading straight to the Czech Republic for the Brno GP so I can get back on my Yamaha and go for a positive finish.
“I was disappointed to just miss out on the top satellite position in Austria, but I am convinced that I will have my chance this Sunday.
“I will give my all to clinch a solid result, which will give me a boost ahead of the following GP which is my home Grand Prix at Silverstone.”
