OXFORD United have announced a change in the way their tickets will be sold for the Emirates FA Cup first round tie at Merstham.

The U's have been allocated space for 1,000 supporters at Moatside on Saturday, November 5.

When the details were released yesterday they were initially only available in person at the ticket office to season ticket holders from 9.30am-noon on Saturday.

But it has now been altered so season ticket holders can also buy online from 9.30am on Saturday and will be available throughout the weekend.

Any remaining tickets will go on general sale on Tuesday morning.

It comprises of 530 seats and 470 on the terrace – but tickets will be sold on an ‘open’ basis and the away end will be unrestricted on the day.

Greig Box Turnbull, Oxford United's managing director, said: "We are thankful to Merstham for their generosity in the ticket allocation, which will enable as many of our supporters as possible to attend the game.

"We're working closely with Merstham to assist in any way we can towards the day, including providing stewards and ticketing."

The kick-off has been moved to 12.30pm so it can be televised by BT Sport, with both teams receiving a broadcast fee of £67,500.
