BLUE Boar reached the Oxfordshire Shield final with a 20-17 win over Wheatley at Oxford RFC on Sunday.
They will face either Oxford University Whippets or Alchester at Iffley Road on March 18/19.
Dan Rule’s try gave Wheatley a 7-0 lead.
But Boar hit back with two unconverted tries from Seb Perry, before Aaron Laman's penalty made it 10-10.
Three yellow cards were shown for knock-ons after the break.
Giles Blanchard converted his own try and kicked a penalty to put Boar 20-10 in front.
Jordan Hook’s converted score gave Wheatley hope, but they fell just short.
