LEADERS Charlbury won their crunch top-of-the-table clash at home to East & West Hendred by 32 runs to stretch their lead in the OCA League Division 1 title race.

Ian Johnston was the star for the hosts, scoring 39 in Charlbury’s 168 all out, Mark Baring taking 4-34.

Johnston then claimed 5-31 in 12 overs as Hendred were bowled out for 136.

Faringdon eased past hosts Great Horwood by 107 runs.

Rob Brown (76) and Rob Owen (60) helped Faringdon set 266-7. Horwood finished on 159-7.

Mohammed Shafqat took 6-26 to help hosts Wolvercote to a 57-run win at home to Stonesfield, who were bowled out for 88.

Tim MacIntyre top-scored with 54 in Wolvercote’s 145, Ali Malik taking 4-28.

Division 2 leaders Witney Swifts fell to a 72-run defeat at home to Marsh Gibbon.

Chasing Marsh’s 203-7, Omar Hussain (53) led Swifts’ reply, but they were all out for 131.

Broughton posted 181-6 at Eynsham, Stuart Walton top-scoring with 64 not out.

Gary Cook (54no) and Chris Bowles (52no) then led Eynsham to 184-3.

Wantage brushed aside visitors Westcott by seven wickets.

Westcott were restricted to 178-8, before Barry Martin hit 91 not out and Ian Challand 39 not out in Wantage’s 179-3.

Middleton Cheney stayed top of Division 3 after running out five-wicket winners at Fringford.

Sam Hanson (4-24) was the pick of the Middleton attack as the hosts were bowled out for 130, Tony Burcham hitting 47.

Tetsworth’s Kailash Meghji took 5-15 to help his side to a seven-wicket win at Cairns Fudge, who were bowled out for 112.

Krunal Patel scored 72 not out to steer Tetsworth home at 116-3.

Richard Brown returned brilliant figures of 7-27 as Hanborough eased past Risinghurst by 76 runs.

Hanborough had earlier been dismissed for 178 as Joseph Burgess hit 56.

Brown’s seven-wicket haul then ensured Risinghurst were shot out for 102.

Stanton Harcourt beat visitors Kidlington by four wickets.

Darren Gordon (4-32) and Chris May (3-8) combined to help bowl Watlington out for 120, only for Kilkenny to crash to 59 all out, Rama Garimella taking 4-12.

Division 4 leaders Brill marched on with a 79-run win at Marcham.

Harry Wilson (63) helped Brill to 171 all out, Andrew Chalmers taking 4-49.

Andy Wynd then claimed 6-12 as Marcham were dismissed for 92.

Ramesh Chennagiri’s extraordinary figures of 7-8 in 11.2 overs helped Deddington to an eight-wicket win over visitors Dorchester.

There were six ducks in Dorchester’s 69 all out as Chennagiri ran riot.

Gerard Duncan (39no) then ensured Deddington eased home with few alarms.

Edward Landray’s fine century saw Bampton to a formidable 248-8, setting up a 173-run victory at Swinbrook.

Andrew Wingfield Digby took 5-29 for Swinbrook, who fell for 75.
