BRADLEY Smith recorded his best finish of the season with a top-ten place at yesterday’s San Marino MotoGP.
The Forest Hill rider producing a stunning ride after starting the race from 22nd on the grid in Misano.
Smith’s tenth place in the rain was all the more impressive considering his KTM RC16 had only ever previously done nine laps in the wet at the track.
“At the start there was so much spray you couldn’t see much,” Smith said.
“There was so much standing water, but then I felt better and better as the track started to dry.
“To bring it home for tenth, my first top-ten finish (for KTM), I’m super happy.”
