WALLINGFORD secured a bonus-point 32-7 victory over Oxfordshire rivals Gosford All Blacks in Southern Counties North.

Ian Jeffreys crossed twice, while Dan Sadler, James Norris, and Nathan Chapman were also among the try-scorers.

Phil Dawes kicked two conversions, with Finn Sayce adding a penalty.

WHEATLEY went top of the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier, with a bonus-point 30-22 win at home to Didcot.

The visitors took the lead, but the hosts soon made it 8-5, when Jordan Hook crossed and Aaron Laman landed a penalty.

Dan Rule then raced over, Laman converting, to make it 15-5, before both sides had a player sent to the sin-bin.

A Laman penalty extended Wheatley’s lead after the break, before Didcot hit back with a converted try.

Wheatley made it 25-12, thanks to Josh Hillsdon’s interception try, converted by Laman, but the visitors cut the gap to six points.

Laman converted his own score to all but secure victory, before Didcot added a consolation try.

Littlemore earned a 40-29 win at home to Hungerford.

Tries from James Burge, Rich Tattersall and Luke Ward helped the hosts lead 19-15 at half-time.

Tattersall then went over for his second, before Jack Dawson and Jonny Gerrard crossed.

Jonny Williams kicked four conversions, with Stewart Beale adding another.

Meanwhile, Abingdon beat Crowthorne 33-15.

In the Championship, Chipping Norton beat Berkshire Shire Hall 24-21, but Faringdon lost 57-6 at Aldermaston.
