DIVISION 1 side Oracle B caused an upset by beating Premier Division hosts Thame A in the semi-finals of the Gentworks Oxford & District Snooker League’s Simonds Cup.
After the teams drew 3-3, Oracle went through to the final 385-281 on aggregate.
Two big wins by Ben Rowland were the key for Oracle, while Connor Jones drew them level by winning the last frame.
Jon Bishop’s double for Thame was in vain.
In the final, Oracle will play Premier Division leaders Abingdon Conservative A, who beat Eynsham A 4-0.
The Sherlock Cup final – for teams from lower leagues – will be contested by New Club B and Thame B, who squeezed past Thame C on aggregate thanks to Phil Baker’s double, which included three 30-plus breaks.

l PAUL Robinson led Fieldside to a 2-1 victory away to Ashton in the Gentworks Oxford & District Billiards League.
Robinson (-65) produced four 20-plus breaks, including a best of 40, to squeeze home 200-193 against Paul Watts (+70).
Bob Chivers (-50) completed the visitors’ win by beating Terry Chambers (scr) 200-130.
Headington stayed top of Division 1 with a 2-1 success at Littlemore RBL, with wins from Connor Jones and Roger Tomlin.
