DAVE Allsworth retained Littlemore AS’s Keith Mills Cup with a convincing win on Sandford Lock.
All the fish were shoaled up in one area, with several of the 15 anglers failing to get a single bite.
Fishing on the pole with maggot over groundbait feed, reigning champion Allsworth had 24 skimmers for a winning weight of 28lb 4oz 0drms.
Two pegs up, Chris Webb hauled in a skimmer and a hybrid on the pole for second place with 4.14.0, while Pete Clarke was third on 4.9.0.
Henry Clarke triumphed when 14 anglers contested North Oxford AS’s Committee v Members match on the Oxford Canal at Yarnton Road, Kidlington.
Clarke caught skimmers and perch, alternating between bread and worm, for a winning weight of 4.0.0.
Dougie Foreshaw finished second with 3.0.0, with Dave Pether third on 2.11.8 of perch.
Marston AC FTB will be holding their annual meeting at the Victoria Arms, Marston, next Thursday at 7.30pm.
