OXFORD Hawks gave a determined display as they went down 2-1 at home to

high-riding Reading in their Ladies’ Investec Conference West match.

Hawks pulled one goal back through Bex Oakes at a penalty corner.

Witney ensured they will finish at least fourth in South Clubs League Division 2 after a 2-2 draw at home to PHC Chiswick,

The depleted hosts went behind to a penalty corner.

But they fought back to lead 2-1 at the break when Millie Hartwell netted after a deflection caused mayhem in the Chiswick goalmouth, followed by a brilliant solo goal from Hayley Dobson.
