Oxford Motor Club’s Bullnose Rally has raised £750 for the Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust.
The rally, which takes place each year on private land at venues around Oxfordshire and starts and finishes at Millets Farm, near Frilford, attracts competitors from all across the country who compete to set the fastest time in cars that are essentially the same as those available on any garage forecourt.
The money was raised through a combination of donations from competitors, motor club members and from the profits of the rally itself.
Bullnose Rally organiser, Neil Lewis, presented a cheque to helicopter pilot, Jez Charlton, and Paramedics Andy Colledge and Raymond Taylor at the Air Ambulance’s base at RAF Benson.
Neil Lewis said, “As motorsport competitors, we really appreciate the value of the Thames Valley Air Ambulance. It therefore makes sense for the Bullnose Rally to support the Trust in any way we can and we’re pleased that, once again, we’ve been able to make a donation that will help ensure this invaluable service is available to everyone in the area.”
