Oxford United to face Aston Villa

Oxford United have fixed up an attractive pre-season friendly at home to an Aston Villa XI.

Martin O'Neill has said he will send a strong squad for the game on Tuesday August 4 (7.45pm).

It will be United's final pre-season game before the Blue Square Premier campaign kicks off on August 8.

U's manager Chris Wilder said: "I really appreciate Villa making such a great gesture. it will be a great test for us and a game for the fans to look forward to."

They finished sixth oc81 - that is one of the best.. t*at.

You probably moaned when we had pre-season friendlies against Man Utd XI the last couple of seasons.
