• "Yesterday Lord Peter McVey effectively condoned some taxi drivers not picking up fares from lone black men because they might do a 'Linford Christie'. Today he's sucking up to the former deputy of the British National Party.
  
  So Lord Peter - if the Oxford Mail are so awful then how come they ran BNP advertisements and their parent company took about £10,000 of the BNP's money to do so. Did I mention money... don't ask about the money!
  
  I note that Mr Darby complains about people not wanting debate yet never appears to be able to stand his corner and encourage debate. I suggest Simon Darby could have been much more clever by playing along with it and turning the situation around, obviously a pessimist and a bit of a coward because instead he ran away and took a few snipes from the comments section instead."
