  • "Again your facts are wrong on Holmes - he wanted a 6 figure signing on fee and stupid wages and we werent prepared to pay it he's a good player but not that good and we have better players in the team than Holmes so if he thinks he is going to enjoy playing football in a team that hoof it then i thik he has made a mistake going to PNE.

There are plenty of players out there that are better so his loss and the games he played for us he didnt set the world on fire and to me the silly money he wanted he wasnt worth it.

As for you lot slating my team i think you need to worry about your own and where your going to be next season as it seems to me oxford are falling apart.

As for all you lot saying Paolo was off to west ham well unlike most people in football his word is his word and he said he was staying and now extended his contract. so you lot are wrong on every point which is perhaps why your manager always gets things wrong as well.

Mid to lower table finish i think next season for you - crowds will be down - Constable will be at Rovers or Northampton next season.

    Rovers-Northampton-R
    otherham-Torquay-Wyc
    ombe-Chesterfield-Ex
eter-Plymouth will be the top teams next season and Oxford to finish 12th or 14th never mind you can follow us top 6 finish."

Constable rumoured to be a Bristol Rovers target

OXFORD United are reported to have received a bid for top scorer James Constable.

The 27-year-old striker is rumoured to be on the radar of npower League Two rivals Bristol Rovers.

Constable, who has scored 80 goals for the U's, turned down an offer to join Swindon Town in January.

United are yet to comment on the speculation.
