RUGBY UNION: London Welsh sign ex-Sale skipper

LONDON Welsh have added experience to their front row by signing former Sale Sharks captain Neil Briggs.
The 27-year-old made 104 appearances for Sale in a six-year spell before leaving for French Pro2 side Bourgoin last season.
Briggs, who earned England caps with the under 21 and Saxon sides, will strengthen the Exiles’ pack ahead of their debut campaign in the Aviva Premiership, where they will play home games at the Kassam Stadium .
He said: “It’s going to be a big challenge, but I like that.
“It’s a chance to help a club grow.”
