DAN White took 4-26 as Hook Norton got off to a flying start in Division 2 of the Banbury Indoor League.
White’s superb haul set up a five-wicket victory over Great & Little Tew in the opening round of the competition.
Tew were shot out for 78 in nine overs, with Dickie Knight then hitting an unbeaten 28 as Hook Norton took just 6.5 overs to pass their target.
Barry Nutt hit a rare indoor cricket half-century, but his 54 could not save Charlbury A from a 14-run defeat against Sandford A.
