Oxford have signed Oxfordshire paceman Will Rooney from Thame Town.

Captain Ian Crosby said: “He will go a long way to replacing Stuart Hole and add to our seam bowling department. He will be a great signing.

“He made his Oxfordshire debut last year and has obviously played in the Home Counties with (Aston) Rowant, so we are looking forward to him joining.”
