SEAN King’s seven-wicket haul proved in vain for Hailey, who crashed to a 93-run defeat at home to Marcham in OCA League Division 4.

Hailey would have been satisfied to restrict the visitors to 151 all out with King taking 7-52, but they collapsed to a miserable 58 all out as Andrew Chalmers returned figures of 5-27.

Tom Julian’s unbeaten century helped Swinbrook to a 93-run win away to Deddington.

Julian (111no) saw Swinbrook to 240-5, before veteran Andrew Wingfield Digby took 3-17 and Nigel White 3-44 as the hosts fell to 147 all out.

Andy Oliver top-scored with 97 not out to steer Kidlington to 197-5 at home to Kilkenny.

The target proved way beyond the visitors, who were shot out for 100 as Tom Bozman took 4-15 and Edd Wilmot 4-23.

Stanton Harcourt saw off Dorchester by 49 runs.

Batting first, Stanton posted 186-9, Louis Pettifer top-scoring with 44, while Lawrence Belcher took 5-35.

Dorchester were dismissed for 137, Ollie Pascoe taking 4-24.

Andy Radcliffe’s 77 led Uffington to a four-wicket victory at home to Britwell Salome.

There was a remarkable game at Risinghurst in Division 5, where the hosts’ 53 all out proved enough to beat West Ilsley by 24 runs.

Andy Brown had taken 6-25 to skittle Risinghurst, but West Ilsley crumbled to 29 all out.

Muhammed Khademi took 4-12, Sayyid Shah 3-2 and Mohammed Iltaf 3-9.

Sunningwell are the early leaders of the division after they thumped West Witney by 128 runs.

Having posted 185, they skittled their visitors out for 57.

Garsington defeated visitors Steventon by 78 runs.

Steve Prew (61) and Nigel Coltman (54) helped Garsington to 190-5, before Arshad Mehmood took 3-26 and Prew 3-37 in Steventon’s 112 all out.

Minster Lovell 2nds beat hosts Hook Norton by 29 runs.

Tim Jarvis top-scored with 61 not out in Minster’s 155-8, and then Ben Spencer took 4-22 as Hooky were bowled out for 126.

Nine-man Kennington still proved too strong for Charlbury 2nd, who were dismissed for 73.

Duncan Robson’s 30 then led Kennington to 76-3.
