CROPREDY crashed to 96 all out at Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd – but it proved to be enough as the hosts were rolled over for only 87.

Chris Panter was the pick of the Shipton attack with 3-19, but he was upstaged after the interval by Ed Somerton (3-17) and Michael Cappelluti (3-27).

Witney Mills spinner Steve Kelly (6-41) and seamer Pierre Lefort (4-44) bowled out Kingston Bagpuize for 163.

But Martin Shepherd (50) and Arthur Verdin’s (33) runs proved crucial as Mills could manage only 135, Damien Wiskin taking 4-31.

Dinton 2nd beat Banbury 3rd off the final ball of a match reduced to a total of 91 overs.

John Wright (50) helped Banbury recover from 40-3 to 161 all out from 48 overs.

Steve Hart (3-58) kept Banbury in touch, and ten were needed off the 43rd and final over, but opener Allen Massey (93no) – earlier dropped five times – saw Dinton to 162-5.

James Rimmer hit 41 and took 3-29 for Bicester & North Oxford, who lost at home to Bledlow Ridge.

Mark Dakin (5-52) helped dismiss Bicester for 143 in the 40th over. Stephen Bird hit 33 as Ridge romped to a five-wicket win.

Harry Moseley (76) and Adam Mould (49) led Bledlow Village to 228-7 at home to Chearsley. who were steered to 177-6 by Neil Davies (69no) and Nick Grimsdell (45).
