Banbury suffered their first defeat of the season in Women’s Midlands League Division 2 with a 74-run loss at Horton House (Northants).
The hosts made 164-4 off their 45 overs, Danielle Houden top-scoring with an unbeaten 29.
Emily Ong and Kate Davies took two wickets apiece for Banbury.
For once, Banbury’s top order failed to fire as Houden (3-17) and Katie Taylor (3-11) sparked a collapse, which saw the visitors crash to 90 all out.
