OXFORD City’s on-loan goalkeeper, Matt Ingram, has been recalled by Wycombe Wanderers.

The 19-year-old was on the bench as the Chairboys went down to a 1-0 defeat at Bradford City in npower League Two last night.

Ingram was acting as cover for Jordan Archer, who will miss Saturday’s trip to Burton Albion after being called up by Scotland Under 21s.

The youngster is now in line for a first professional start at the weekend.

Ingram has been a big hit at City this season after a series of consistent displays and his absence could leave manager Mike Ford short of cover.

Meanwhile, officials have confirmed that City’s Oxfordshire Senior Cup semi-final against Thame United has been switched to Wednesday, April 3.

The game at Thame’s ASM Stadium was originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 9.

But City subsequently rearranged their postponed Blue Square Bet North double-header against Bradford Park Avenue for Monday, April 8 – at the Horsfall Stadium – and Wednesday, April 10 – at Marsh Lane.

That would have left City with three games in as many days, which triggered the new date for the cup tie.

City are due to face Oxford University in a Town v Gown clash at Marsh Lane tonight (7.30).

Abingdon United’s game at Bishops Cleeve in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West tonight hinges on a pitch inspection today.
