North Leigh boss Mark Gee is confident his side can bounce back away to Merthyr Town tomorrow.

Four straight defeats have seen the Millers drop to sixth in the Calor League Division 1 South & West table.

“If you had said to me we would be around the top-seven going into 2014 I would have been happy,” said Gee.

“We’re not a million miles away from the top, but we do need to change things around.”

The Welsh side play on a G3 pitch and are hopeful the game will be on, despite heavy rainfall in the area.

“The ball runs true and you can make sliding challenges without getting burns,” added Gee.

Striker Aaron Woodley could start after a hamstring injury.

Didcot Town joint boss Ian Concannon wants a big improvement at home to Shortwood United.

Concannon expressed his dismay after they lost 2-0 at fellow strugglers Thatcham Town on New Year’s Day.

“We just weren’t at the races,” said Concannon. “We didn’t work hard enough and gifted them two goals from two identical set-pieces.”

“Pablo Haysham and Kameron Abbassi are back from suspension, so people are playing for their places.”

Tom Franklin faces a late fitness test.

Banbury United boss Edwin Stein wants a more ruthless approach against Cambridge City at Histon in the Premier Division.

“I think we have played really well in our last two games,” said Stein.

“Even when we lost 5-3 at Hemel, I thought we matched them.

“Claudio Dias got a hat-trick, but he could have got a couple more.

“We must have had ten good chances, but only converted three.

“We did well to come back from 2-0 down against Burnham, but we still should have won.

“We have got to be more ruthless.”

Banbury are without Kynan Issac, Wayne Blossom, Scott Bridges (all banned) and Albi Skendi (injured).
