Goalkeeper Victor Francoz will make his first appearance since suffering a bizarre calf injury in January when Oxford City entertain Banbury United in the Oxfordshire Senior Cup quarter-final tonight.

The Frenchman sustained a nasty wound to his leg after falling out of a tree as he tried to save a cat.

But now he gets his chance again after Mark Scott was stretchered off with a back injury in the 2-2 home draw against Leamington in Skrill North on Saturday.

City are unable to field new signings Daniel Akubuine, Viv Solomon-Otabor and Mark Preece as only players who were registered at least seven days before the original date of the fixture are eligible to play.

Zac McEachran is expected to feature after scoring on Saturday, having not previously appeared in the competition for Oxford City Nomads.

Both sides are looking to end a miserable run of form, with City still winless in 2014 and Banbury on an alarming eight-game losing run.

Oxford City: from Francoz, Ballard, Stonehouse, Pook, Learoyd, Willmott, Benjamin, McNish, Symons, Pond, Winters, Basham, Cook, Henderson, West, Jackson, McEachran, Janes.
