Lee Henderson could miss Oxford City’s end-of-season run-in after pulling a hamstring in Saturday’s 4-0 defeat at AFC Telford United, writes MATTHEW BRUCE.

The defender limped off after just 23 minutes and is expected to be out for at least four weeks, starting with this evening’s Skrill North match at Leamington.

“He may not start again for us this season, which is a big blow for him and a big blow for us as well,” said manager Mike Ford.

Captain Darren Pond filled in at right-back for the remainder of the match and could deputise there again as City revert to a more attacking 4-4-2 formation.

Teenage striker Kayden Jackson is expected to lead the line with Mike Symons, and Ford believes that only a win will do as his side look to close the gap on Histon, who face fellow strugglers Glouc-ester City.
