OXFORD United’s players will know where their futures lie by the end of this week.
The squad have today off and are in tomorrow to undergo some post-season physical testing.
Gary Waddock will sit down to discuss his plans with chairman Ian Lenagan, then hold one-to-one meetings with every player.
United’s head coach said: “On Tuesday we have some testing to do with the players, so it will be towards Thursday or Friday.
“By the end of the week they will know where they are.”
Those out of contract this summer, a group which includes captain Jake Wright and top scorer James Constable, will either be offered new deals or released.
Some on contracts are likely to be told they are surplus to requirements and transfer-listed.
