  • ". . . and to think we won the League Cup less than 30 years ago . . . . and now Rock Bottom in the 2014 form guide at the lowest level of the fully professional game!
COYY don't dwell - move on its a completely blank canvas and the whole of the summer to sort it out. Please lets try and build a team that strengthens through a season ie from Christmas and not weaken as we have done !"

Andy Melville has left Oxford United after five years as part of the club's coaching staff.

The former defender, who won 65 caps for Wales, said he does not have another job in mind, but intends to assess his options after resigning.

Melville told the club's website: "I have worked with some tremendous people and it has been a privilege to work at the club.

“I now feel that the time is right to move on. I don’t have a specific job out there to go to but I would like the opportunity to take stock and see what is available."
