was considered by some not to be good enough for Dalry Thistle)
appearing in a Largs jersey after playing for Glenafton in the 1993
final would be considered a legitimate target by the latter.
Your correspondent is wrong to state that all the top Ayrshire clubs
have byes into the second round of this year's competition: Kilbirnie
Ladeside have to meet Arbroath in the first round.
