GEORGE Seacole blasted a hat-trick as North Leigh came from behind to beat Salisbury 3-2 in Division 1 South & West last night.

Tommy Wright fired the visitors ahead after just seven minutes of the Evo-Stik Southern League clash.

It stayed that way until the second half when Seacole levelled two minutes after the restart.

North Leigh’s No 9 then netted again on 50 minutes, only for Wright to bag his second goal of the game three minutes later.

But the Millers, who handed a debut to new signing James Fawke and had another new face, Giorgio Wrona, on the bench, claimed victory when Seacole completed his hat-trick with 11 minutes remaining.

Banbury United held on for a 2-1 victory over Chippenham in the Premier Division.

Conor McDonagh put Mike Ford’s side ahead in the first half when he converted an Eddie Odhiambo pass.

Banbury doubled their lead before the break when McDonagh’s shot was saved, but the ball bounced back against a defender and went into the net.

Chippenham reduced the deficit through Will Richards, but Banbury held on.
