RYAN Ledson has been short-listed for the Young Player of the Season prize at the EFL Awards next month.
The 19-year-old has excelled since joining Oxford United from Everton last August.
He has established himself as a first-choice selection in central midfield alongside John Lundstram, making 25 starts this season.
Ledson is away with England Under 20s, playing 90 minutes and setting up the only goal of the game in their win against hosts France on Saturday.
They are due to play Ivory Coast tomorrow, before Ledson returns to join United as they prepare for Sunday's Checkatrade Trophy final at Wembley.
He has been short-listed for the EFL award alongside John Swift (Reading) and Ollie Watkins (Exeter City).
The winner will be named at a ceremony on April 9.
