FOOTBALL: Gee eyeing play-off push
10:00am Friday 17th August 2012 in Football
North Leigh manager Mark Gee is hoping to make it third time lucky when they start their Evo-Stik Division 1 South & West campaign at home to Bishops Cleeve tomorrow.
The Millers have missed out on the play-offs in the last two seasons, but Gee says they have learned from last term.
“I want to have a squad of around 16 that are capable of playing in the first team,” said Gee.
“It is no good having 11 or 12 that can do that, because if you get a few injuries or loss of form, you are in trouble.”
However, he will have to do without Mitchell Bryant after the striker re-joined old club Cambridge City due to transport problems.
IN: W Turk (Salisbury), J Else, Z Westlake (both Cirencester Tn), O Collins.
