OXFORD City boss Mark Jones hopes to make the most of home advantage when his side host Bath City in Vanarama National League South this evening, writes MATTHEW BRUCE.
Despite more than six weeks passing since City’s last league match at Marsh Lane, recent weather has left the pitch in poor state.
But Jones, who has a full-strength squad to choose from, believes that could be to his side’s benefit.
The caretaker-manager said: “As much as we complain about the state of the pitch, we have to remember that the opposition aren’t exactly going to enjoy it either and use that to our advantage.
“I don’t think Bath will be looking forward to coming here on a Tuesday night very much.”
