OXFORD City have unveiled their pre-season fixtures – with some exciting matches scheduled for their new 3G pitch.

Mark Jones’s side start with a match against Oxford United on Saturday, July 8, to official open the surface.

Cheltenham Town come to town the following Tuesday, with Mike Ford bringing his Banbury United team on Saturday, July 15.

There is a return to City for ex-youth team striker Horatio Hirst when Sheffield United send an under 23 side on Saturday, July 22.

They then host an Armed Forces XI on Tuesday, July 25 and wrap things up with a home fixture against Brackley Town on Saturday, July 29.

NORTH Leigh have decided to withdraw from the Evo-Stik Southern League Challenge Cup.
