BANBURY United’s Buildbase FA Trophy replay against Farnborough Town was postponed last night after a number of visiting players got stuck in traffic.
A number of vehicles were delayed and still missing at the scheduled 7.45 kick-off time.
Despite being given another hour to arrive by the referee, they had still not turned up and so the match was called off.
The teams drew 3-3 on Saturday and now await further instruction from the Football Association.
Meanwhile, in the Evo-Stik South League West Division, Thame United were denied victory at Barton Rovers by the last kick of the match.
Dan West, having already hit the woodwork, fired the visitors into a deserved lead on 23 minutes.
West struck the bar for a second time moments later as Thame continued to dominate.
The hosts gradually got back into the game, but looked to be out of time until Andrew Phillips fired home in the 93rd-minute, with the referee immediately blowing for full time.
