MARK Jones has urged his players to continue their resurgence when they host Wealdstone in Vanarama National League South tomorrow.

City are riding on the crest of a wave and are unbeaten in their last four, including reaching the second round of the Emirates FA Cup.

Jones is desperate to keep the run going against a Wealdstone side unbeaten in their last seven.

“The last few games we have had outstanding performances throughout the team,” Jones said.

“We’ve got that feel-good factor back and it’s important we keep that going.”

Jones was delighted with last weekend’s 2-1 win at Chelmsford, especially their defending in the last 30 minutes.

“I’ve said many times that if you keep the goals against column down, it gives you a great chance,” he said.

“The way we have defended in the last few weeks has been really pleasing. We will always score goals, and now we have that belief at the other end.”

City are holding a former managers and players’ reunion tomorrow, and with Wealdstone boasting a large following, a big crowd is expected at Court Place Farm.

“Hopefully it’ll be a good atmosphere,” he said. “They are well supported, and it will be great to see some old City favourites at the ground. Let’s hope we can put a good performance on for them.”

City are likely to be at full strength with defender Lee Henderson recovering from a calf problem.

Reece Fleet is also available following a knee injury, giving Jones selection headaches of the right sort.

“It’s great to have a full side to choose from,” he said.

“We’ve always had one or two out this year, but now everyone is available, that’s a real boost.”
