Steven Gray fired a double for Oxford University Press as they boosted their chances of escaping the drop with a 4-0 thrashing of Charlton United.

Gray opened their account on 25 minutes from the penalty spot after Dave Carter (pictured) was tripped.

After the break, OUP turned up the heat, with Andy Gray doubling their lead with a neat chip.

Minutes later, Steven Gray completed his brace with No 3, before Carter completed the rout with a fine individual strike to dump Charlton to the bottom of the table.

James Luckett had a dream debut for Horspath as he helped them to a 4-2 success against Haddenham.

Luckett fired them ahead after early on, with Elliot O'Brien making it 2-0.

In the second half, O'Brien scored his second with Jordan Reid wrapping up their scoring. Although Haddenham scored two goals it was too little, too late.

A strike from Steve Fontaine was enough for Rover Cowley as they beat Chadlington 1-0.

Chadlington thought they had made the breakthrough on 40 minutes, only for Dan Cleveely's effort to be ruled out for a foul earlier in the move on the Rover keeper.

After the break, Chadlington missed a number of chances, before Rover took a 68th-minute lead, Fontaine's mis-hit shot wrong-footing the Chadlington keeper and finding the back of the net.

Chadlington should have levelled, but Cleevely shot wide from six yards after his initial effort was saved by the Rover keeper.

Kennington and Garsington's players will have to do it all again after their clash was abandoned after 75 minutes due to the bad weather.

Nick East completed his return from a six-month injury lay-off, bagging a brace for Worcester & Bletchingdon as they kept up their championship bid with a 6-0 demolition of Middleton Cheney away from home.

Paul Faulkner opened the scoring with a cross-shot into the top corner, before Ian Roberts bagged their second.

East crashed a 20-yard thunderbolt into the top corner, with Craig Hanlon grabbing their fourth after the break.

East netted No 5, with Stuart Ells completing their tally with Bletchingdon's sixth after good work from Tommy Gaughan.
