XFORD United manager Les Taylor believes his team have shown they can compete with top sides in FA Women’s Super League 2.
The U’s host early season leaders Durham at Abingdon United’s Northcourt Road tomorrow (12) still searching their first point after defeats in their opening two games.
But Taylor is confident that will come sooner rather than later.
He said: “There are a number of new faces and young players in the squad and we know that they are going to gel the more they play together.
“Losing matches always hurts but there have been enough encouraging signs in those first two games to suggest that better results are going to follow, hopefully starting tomorrow.”
