Banbury United’s FA Carlsberg Trophy hopes ended with a 3-1 defeat in last night’s second qualifying round replay against Godalming Town at Spencer Stadium.
Jason Taylor, who scored in Saturday’s 1-1 draw, netted Banbury’s equaliser after they had gone behind to a Glen Stanley penalty, but goals in the 86th and 90th minutes by Richard Shittu killed them off.
