FOOTBALL: Hill quits Witney for a second time

UHLSport Hellenic League

WITNEY United are again looking for a new manager after Richard Hill resigned for a second time.

He left the club after being told that there was no money available for a playing budget next season, something which Hill had previously said was crucial.

General manager Andy Lyne said: “Richard worked with no budget this season and he got the players performing to their maximum.

“We are indebted to him for the work he put in helping us to maintain our Premier Division status.

“For me, this is a massive disappointment.”

Applications for the post, along with a CV, should be sent to Andy Lyne, General Manager, Witney United FC, Downs Road, Witney, OX29 7WT.

Closing date for applications is Friday, May 27.

Meanwhile, Carterton boss Andy Zoldan has also resigned from his position.

They are now looking for a replacement and anyone wishing to apply should contact chairman Rob King on 07766 201418.
