Bicester secured the runners-up spot in Section 4 of the Shaw Gibbs Oxfordshire Foursomes league with a 2-1 victory at home to Shrivenham Park on the final day of the season.
In a tight league, Bicester, who had been fourth over-night, secured promot-ion ahead of Rye Hill, with whom they swap places, Shrivenham finished third. Hadden Hill had already won the title.
Shrivenham won the top tie when Mike and Colin Soule overcame Duncan Currie and Dave Billington 3 & 2.
But Bicester stormed back with big victories from Wayne Dobbins and Tom Jennings, who triumphed 5 & 4, and Aiden McKeran and Tom Heasley, who trounced their oppon-ents 8 & 7.
