FRILFORD Heath’s three courses were kept busy as Oxford Ladies reclaim Trophy they hosted eight events in England Golf’s first Golf Week.
The Oxfordshire club also staged a conference aimed at getting more women and girls to take part in the sport.
Jimmy James, general manager at Frilford Heath, said: “We were delighted to see so many golfers from all over the country get involved in England Golf’s inaugural Golf Week.
“Indeed, it was more a celebration of golf across the ability scale.”
Despite being on home soil, the county’s golfers were unable to claim silverware.
Yorkshire scooped a trophy hat-trick in the Club Team Championships, London Pride Gold Medal and the Junior Champion Club.
