KIRTLINGTON’S Gregor McKenzie has been included in the England golf under 16 regional squad for the 2016/17 training programme.

The 15-year-old is following in the footsteps of US Masters champion Danny Willett and is one of seven boys selected for the Thames Valley squad.

l PAUL Fitzgerald, Murray Sowerbutts and Tony Buck won the Five Star Masters in memory of Ray Hawes, played at Huntercombe.

The event raised more than £1,000 for Oxford-based cancer charity UCARE.
