EDDIE Pepperell secured his highest finish on the PGA European Tour for nearly a year, when he came joint eighth at the Nordea Masters in Sweden.
The 26-year-old, from Frilford Heath, produced a final round of 71 to finish on six-under-total of 286.
Three straight birdies on the front nine put Pepperell on the fringe of contention, but he eventually finished five shots behind the first-time winner Renato Paratore, from Italy.
