EDDIE Pepperell made the halfway cut in the French Open, but his round was interrupted by a thunderstorm in Paris.
The Abingdon golfer was two under par for both his second round and the tournament, when the storm broke after he had played 12 holes.
Immediately on resumption, the 26-year-old dropped a shot and another bogey followed at 17.
But his second level-par round saw him make the cut in tied 49th, but is eight shots off the lead.
Many of Europe’s stars are playing in the tournament on the Paris National course that will stage next year’s Ryder Cup.
