Last year’s runners-up Frilford Heath reached round two of the Shaw Gibbs Oxfordshire Foursomes League Knockout Trophy after easing past Hazlemere.
Frilford, of Section 1, had few problems in securing a 2½-½ victory over their Section 4 opponents.
Ashley Walton and Joe Richardson, plus Alex Gavrilovic and Bob Mann secured the crucial two-hole victories for Frilford, who will visit Hadden Hill or Mentmore in round two.
Joining them are North Oxford, who won 2-1 at Drayton Park to set up a tie at Brailes or Studley Wood.

Frilford Heath 2½, Hazlemere ½ (Frilford Heath first): A Walton & J Richardson bt Mike J & P Clarke 2 holes, A Gavrilovic & B Mann bt N Joy & D Taylor 2 holes, P Richardson & P Dolton halved with C Tackley & J Stanners.
Drayton Park 1, North Oxford 2 (Drayton Park first): B James & N Allen lost to S Smith & N Jones 2 holes, A Elmey & G Moore lost to M Booth & J Tasker 5 & 4, A Griffiths & M Roberts bt P Jones & M Tippett 5 & 4.
