BNP pulls visit
11:10am Tuesday 3rd April 2012 in News
FORMER British National Party deputy party leader Simon Darby cancelled a visit to OX105FM yesterday over fears of being “vilified”.
He had been due to join presenters and take calls on the Blackbird Leys-based community radio station, but cancelled when he discovered producers had lined up a debate with city councillor and Independent Working Class Association member Stuart Craft.

Dear ******,
Word reaches me this morning that rather than an interview with one of your presenters about BNP policy as originally sold to me, Monday's show is to be a "debate" between me and a member of the far left.
Unfortunately the far left don't do "debate" when it come to the BNP. Instead what we will see is an outpouring of hatred, poison and hostility that might make sensationalist radio, but will effectively drag me down to their level.
My time, although ostensibly given freely, is precious to me and I can find alternatives for a Monday morning that do not involve being shouted at, vilified and abused as part of a contrived, confrontational spectacle.
If you had let me know of your intentions in the first place it would have been better, however I'm giving you as much notice as I can so as not to disappoint or inconvenience your listeners.

So Lord Peter - if the Oxford Mail are so awful then how come they ran BNP advertisements and their parent company took about £10,000 of the BNP's money to do so. Did I mention money... don't ask about the money!
I note that Mr Darby complains about people not wanting debate yet never appears to be able to stand his corner and encourage debate. I suggest Simon Darby could have been much more clever by playing along with it and turning the situation around, obviously a pessimist and a bit of a coward because instead he ran away and took a few snipes from the comments section instead.

Surely if you've got such a good case you could have wiped the floor with him (in the debate)? Compulsory ‘political correctness’
Compulsory ‘political correctness’ has four major effects on the individual person: the compulsory suppression of your traditional right to free speech; the strangulation of your own logic and common sense; the compulsory denial of all the negative aspects the Marxist Left have inflicted on Britain and its people over the decades; and perhaps the most sinister aspect of all, the fear compulsory ‘political correctness’ generates if anyone dares to question it or oppose it.
If you don’t want to lose your job or be passed over for promotion, or be insulted, harassed, bullied, victimised or persecuted, then you must become a ‘politically correct’ automaton (anything outside of that and you’ve got trouble on your hands). There is no room in the politically correct world of the Marxist Left for free thinkers, critics or honest, real-world observations (in the same way there is no room in the British National Party for the politically correct brigade). If you want to be a ‘politically correct’ automaton, then be one, but don’t force others to be one if they don’t want it.

There was a small group of young lads, I think local, dressed in black. There was a lot of older people too, people of different politics. Lots of local people and students. There were so many UAF placards because UAF, SWP etc handed out lots of placards. So it gave the appearance that most of the crowd were UAF people yet that wasn't the case.
There were some speeches which were pretty civilised and Mr Shaodow I remember putting on a a good show.
What went on inside the union was far more civilised than many nights in the bar so I don't know what you're complaining about really.
The police had a line of police horses on New Inn Hall Street near Argos but I don't think they used them to disperse the crowd which was contained in St. Michael Street.
Were you in the TV van? A good escape with dramatic effect, you must be pleased with it. The police very easily and calmly just cut off New Inn Hall street and let the van out. Next David Irving came out of the back entrance on New Inn Street, met by 2 protesters and loads of press and then - the most terrible incident of the night took place - a 3rd protester banged on the side of the taxi as Irving sped off.
Of course - this story must be entirely fabricated just like the gas chambers that Irving thinks were fabricated.

The O.M. keeps on telling us how many awards that they win, but never admit to the rubbish and inaccurate reporting that we have to put up with day in day out. Or maybe you could give an interview to a reporter (that is if they actually have one, and don't just take their stories from the web) that would be enlightening, and welcomed by all of us.
Nice story, shame it isn't true. I was never going to Oxford in the first it was simply to be a telephone interview. Here's the email I sent to the radio station on Saturday-
Dear ******,
Word reaches me this morning that rather than an interview with one of your presenters about BNP policy as originally sold to me, Monday's show is to be a "debate" between me and a member of the far left.

Care to find any proof of that or are you going to keep making it up as you go along?
Try again shall we? :-
"A Sky News poll has revealed widespread public support for """MANY""" of the BNP's policies".
Yes fortunately we can all use Google and fortunately those of us who have experience and understanding know that it is a search engine not the bible according to some no-mark.
I've made no statements to prove - I was just debunking you post repeating BNP propaganda. That done I'll leave you to rant away to your hearts content.

Peter my dear Peter, everyone can see that in the absence of fact and logic you have now resorted to throwing flailing blind punches in the desperate hope one of them will land.
Your tactic of smear, insult and negative labeling changes the validity of your argument not one jot. The argument remains the same, it does not get stronger because you have attempted to place me lower down than you in what you perceive as negative social standing.
I did have to laugh though at your attempt to paint me as a rich man when it's you that gave yourself the name Lord.
My Lord, do you think that only rich people can deconstruct your argument and put a logical coherent counter argument?
I bet you doth your cap to yourself don't you, lol?
You have in this thread sla66ed off the Working Class and managed to make racist claims as well.
"..when you can go to a Mosque any day of the week and find a "religious leader" telling his followers to kill white westerners, blow up their buildings..."
Aside from your attempts at avoidance why have you said that Muslims were saying kill White people and blow up their buildings? You are just making stuff up Peter that coincidentally fits in with your own prejudices and argument.
I challenge you to produce one scrap of evidence that anybody in a Mosque in this country has ever called for the deaths of White people?
Your statement is nonsense and illogical considering there are hundreds of thousands of White Muslims in this country and millions worldwide.
Your pathetic attempt at equating Muslim with non White is straight out of Simon Darby and the BNP's book of how to exploit weaker laws on religious hatred to attack black people.
"Killing a Kafir who is fighting you is OK. Killing a Kafir for any reason, you can say it, it is OK - even if there is no reason for it". That is my last word on this BOB and Ox cabby. Either I made the above up, or it seems to me that killing for no reason is ok.
In your case. it leads to much merriment watching you shine an even brighter light on that stupidity with each and every new post of yours.

I don't see many Muslims being incited to target my missus colour, or Chinese, or Caribbean countries, it only seems to be aimed at one. Apologies accepted.
