How to reach the ground
Bell Close, Lake Street, Leighton Buzzard, Beds. Tel: 01525 372258.
The ground is opposite the Morrisons supermarket petrol station and next to Leighton Town Football Club. Please note that major road works are scheduled for Leighton Buzzard during 2005, with severe
traffic congestion in the town centre likely throughout the summer. Teams travelling via Aylesbury and Wing are advised to use the following route to the ground: From A418 turn right on to the A505
(signposted Dunstable/Milton Keynes); at second roundabout turn left (signposted Grovebury Road Trading Estate); straight on to T-junction; turn left; bear left at mini-roundabout; after 50 metres,
turn left into Bell Close.
The 2004 season produced a cliff-hanging finale, with the 1st XI retaining its place in division three with just four balls to spare. For 2005, the objective must be to turn the good individual
performances from last year into consistent team performances. The club's youth set up remains very strong and the further development of those younger players with proven ability and those with
great potential remains our priority. It was very pleasing to see a large number of our colts performing with considerable credit at 2nd XI level last season.
